• Axe Throwers must be 18 years or older.  Minors 13 and older may throw (except weekends after 5pm) with parental supervision.
• One Court Rental = 1 hour. Up to 5 courts available.
  The Court Rental Fee = $50.00 for up to 4 throwers. Add a fifth thrower for only $10 more. For more than 5 throwers, we strongly recommend renting multiple courts.
  
• All axe throwers are required to observe a MANDATORY Safety Session delivered by your Axe Coach prior to your first throw, regardless of the throwers skills level or prior experience.  In addition, all throwers are required to read and sign a liability waiver. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• All court rentals start and end at the designated  times. We are often fully booked especially on weekends. Sorry, but we cannot add time to the end of your session if you are late. This policy is in the best interest of all parties. 

Axes & Ales Rules & Regulations provide for safe and fun entertainment.  Your Axe Coach will begin each session with a Safety Session to acquaint you with these rules and regulations, in addition to a  

RULES AND REGULATIONS: 

1. Unsafe and reckless behavior will not be tolerated.  Management reserves the right to prohibit a player from their experience at any time for failure to adhere to these Safety Rules and Regulations and for any other behavior Management determines as unsafe. Players removed for unsafe behavior will not be owed a refund or credit for unused court time or for any fees paid. 
2. All players must wear closed-toed shoes; no exceptions.  Sandals, flip flops and open-toed or unsecured footwear is NOT permitted.
3. Only one (1) player is allowed in the designated court area at a time. When it is not a player's turn to throw the axe, they must remain at the courtside table; only the player throwing the axe may be inside the court playing area.
4. Players must observe and follow the play signals at all times.
5. Players must position both feet firmly on the throwing mat with feet evenly spaced apart and toes forward-facing during the entire action of throwing the axe.
6. Axes must be held in one hand only; two-handed axe-throwing is not permitted.
7. Axes may NOT be thrown sideways or from under-hand positions; players must throw the axe by positioning it to one side of their head and by using a forward-throwing motion ONLY. 
8. During the action of throwing the axe, the axe must be thrown from a point of rest and not in motion before it is released from the player's hand; an axe may NOT be hurled or swung in a continuous motion or released from a player’s hand while it is in motion.
9. Axes may not be handed-off from one player to the next player;  players will retrieve an axe from the location where the previous player's axe landed; before throwing, a player will retrieve the previous player’s axe from the court floor or from the axe board. 

While we do not offer refunds, we will gladly reschedule your court rental with 24 hours advance notice. We are often fully booked, so the 24 hour notice allows time for others to book your timeslot. We're sorry, but we cannot reschedule nor refund with less than 24 hours notice.

To Reschedule your Court Rental: 

1. Call 681-205-8344 to notify Axes and Ales of your reschedule request no less than 24 hours advance notice of your court rental which you are trying to reschedule. 

Axes and Ales is located inside The Lucky Dill deli which serves food and bottled and draft beer, so outside food and beverage are not permitted.  You can order individual food or party trays from The Lucky Dill ahead of time.  Simply call 1-681-205-8344 to place an order with a minimum of 24 hrs advance notice, letting us know you have booked a court rental and your food will be court-side and ready for you! 

We love newbies!  We are open to everyone 18 years and older (and minors over 13 with parent supervision) with a variety of skill levels.  Our Axe Coaches offer personalized instruction and our mandatory Safety Sessions will give you the basic skills to be safe during court time but also to help ensure you hit the target.  

No.  Due to our safety guidelines, we will supply the axes. 

Close-toed shoes are required and loose fitting clothing is recommended. Loose fitting clothing allows for extending your arm.  

Courts rentals made online with a payment are strongly suggested.  If you walk-in and want to play, we will do our best to accommodate but there is no guarantee that a court will be available. Advanced court rentals are strongly recommended. 

Due to space constraints and safety practices, observing the courts while in session is restricted to The Luck Dill deli area only;  observers may not crowd the court area.
